Hoxton Park Airport is privately owned and is managed and operated by Bankstown Airport Limited. Hoxton Park Airport is held on a five (5) year lease which expires in October 2008. At the end of this lease, freehold title will transfer to the owner of the lease and they will determine the best use of the site, consistent with relevant State and Local Government planning laws.
The airport companies are commercial businesses who are maximising return on the assets of the airports, and operating the airports efficiently in their role as significant infrastructure assets.
The management team is committed to:
- Develop a corporate profile to support the airports community, commercial and operational interests.
- Develop the excess capacity at Bankstown Airport in the areas of freight and Regular Passenger
Traffic (RPT), within the regulatory and policy framework.
- Actively expand the property portfolio.
The airport companies will also operate as good corporate citizens with a commitment to community and
environmental issues, and to the delivery of safe and uninterrupted operations at the airports.
