All work associated with the initial or ongoing development of a tenancy site is subject to both Development and Building Approvals.

Development Applications are processed by HPAL while Building Applications are processed by the Airport Building Control Office.

Fees and charges apply for the processing of both Development and Building Applications.

Development and Building Applications are required for:
  • External signage (including advertising), unless temporary and associated with a construction project.
  • Construction of roads, airfield facilities, infrastructure, aprons, and car parks.
  • Erection of a new building, or a modification/addition to an existing building.
